If you are coming by car via the Rheintal motorway A 5, take the exit Freiburg Mitte. Then proceed straight ahead over the city motorway Freiburg onto the B 31 and onto the new bypass through Höllental to Hinterzarten. The route via the Glottertal (exit Freiburg-Nord) is more scenic.
If you are arriving via the Bodensee motorway A 81, take the Donaueschingen exit and continue on the B 31 toward Freiburg until you reach Hinterzarten.
Coming from the B 31 / B 500, turn left at the catholic church, then right into the Sickingerstraße (dead end). After about 400 metres, you will find us on the right-hand side.
If you are arriving by rail, take the IC or ICE to Freiburg, and from here the modern double-storey train that goes every 30 minutes through the picturesque Höllental to Hinterzarten.
Anyone travelling to the Black Forest in an environmentally-friendly manner by rail and who books one or more overnight stays, saves cash with the Schwarzwald-Ticket.
